Professional infielder that was drafted by the Chicago Cubs during the 18th round of the 2012 MLB Draft. He began his professional career playing for the Cubs' rookie affiliate team the AZL Cubs.

Prior to being drafted, he attended Neosho County Community College where he hit over an average of .400.

He made his major league debut playing against the Colorado Rockies on April 21, 2018.

He lives with his wife, Rachel.

He played alongside Ben Zobrist as a member of the Cubs during the 2018 MLB season.
