TV musician who composed the original score for Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb and many other songs used in their shows.
He first started playing guitar at 13, learning both acoustic and electric styles. He formed his own band by age 15.
He won an Oscar for his musical work on Shrek, an Emmy for a Bette Midler HBO Concert, and a Grammy for Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin 's "Heaven Help Us All" duet.
He married Grammy-nominated film music producer Marylata E. Jacob.
He also worked as a session musician with the world's top artists, including Cher , Ray Charles , and LeAnn Rimes .
