MLB reliever that was originally signed by the Oakland Athletics as an international free agent in February 2020. He was later acquired by the Chicago Cubs via trade in July 2021. During his first season in the majors, he allowed an .216 opponent batting average.
He first began his professional pitching career with the Stockton Ports. He pitched in only six games with Stockton.
While playing for the Cubs, he made his official debut while pitching against the Milwaukee Brewers . He pitched two shutout innings and collected a win.
He was born and raised in San Carlos, Venezuela.
