ABOUT COLE SILLINGER

American-born professional center hockey player for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected 12th overall in the 2021 NHL draft. He posts updates on his professional career on his colesillinger Instagram, where he has over 30,000 followers.

He was drafted 11th overall by the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League (WHL) in 2018.

Before the 2021 NHL draft, the NHL Central Scouting Bureau ranked him as the 10th-best eligible North American skater. He scored his first NHL career hat trick in March of 2022. In September of 2022, he posted on his Instagram to commemorate throwing the first pitch in a Cleveland Guardians game.

He was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Karla Sillinger and former NHL player Mike Sillinger. He grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. He began dating Tate McRae in 2022. They later split.

He and David Vyborny both played for the Columbus Blue Jackets.
