ABOUT CHARLES MARTINET

Talented voice-over artist known for bringing life to iconic video game characters Mario and Luigi. In 2023, he retired from being an Nintendo voice actor and became a "Mario Ambassador" for the company.

He learned to speak French, Spanish, and Italian as a child.

He made his Mario voice acting debut in 1995 and has also voiced Wario and Waluigi.

He moved from San Jose, California to Barcelona, Spain with his family at age 12. He would later reside in San Francisco, California.

He and drummer.html">Elijah Wood both lent their voices to the 2003 Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King video game.
