She appeared in an Australian stage production of Boeing Boeing at the age of 16.

She co-starred in the 1982 film Remington Steel.

She was married to her second husband Pierce Brosnan from 1980 until her death in 1991. She and Brosnan had three kids named Charlotte, Christopher and Sean Brosnan .
