ABOUT BRYCE JOHNSON

Switch-hitting outfielder that was originally drafted by the San Francisco Giants during the sixth round in 2017. Since then, he has also played within the San Diego Padres and Pittsburgh Pirates organizations. While in college, he played baseball at Sam Houston State.

He was a two-sport athlete while at Cypress Ranch High School. At the time, he played football and baseball.

He collected his first major league hit while facing Ranger Suárez . He later hit his first MLB homer while facing baseballplayer.html">José Ruiz .

He grew up living with his parents in Cypress, Texas.

He is a former Sam Houston collegiate athlete just like Colton Cowser .
