Became known to audiences as a performer on Lifetime's Dance Moms . Her single "Summer Love Song" reached #9 on iTunes in 2012.

She began taking her dancing career seriously when she was nine.

She finished as a top performer on Dance Moms three times in two seasons.

She was raised by Kelly and Randy Hyland , and has two younger siblings named Paige and Josh . She was in a relationship with Nolan Betts . She started dating Tristen Rose in 2017, but they broke up in 2018. She started posting pictures with a new boyfriend in March 2022. In May 2024, she announced that she was engaged to longtime boyfriend Brian Thalman.

She co-starred in Dance Moms with fellow child dancer Chloe Lukasiak .
