ABOUT BOUTROSS MUNENE

Kenyan rapper, singer, and music producer nicknamed the "Shrap God" who was selected as one of 100 Empawa Africa Artists by soul singer Mr Eazi . He has been widely credited with co-founding the genre and lifestyle known as "shrap." Along with his enduring partner and manager Musau Mumo, he established his own music label called ADF Music and has released numerous solo and group albums throughout his successful career.

He began performing when he was just 12 years old, initially beginning with local talent shows and events throughout the Nyayo Highrise Estate neighborhood in Nairobi, Kenya. He made his professional debut in the year 2013 with his music group AD Family.

Joining efforts with AfriPads and the Kenya National Youth Council, he utilized the proceeds from his single 2020 "Tofauti" to purchase feminine hygiene products for underprivileged girls across Kenya. He is also actively involved in a mental health awareness campaign which he founded.

He hails from Nairobi, Kenya.

He collaborated with 1da Banton , Konshens , and Juicee Man on his 2023 single, "Angela - Remix."
