ABOUT BEC WINNEL
Portrait illustrator who has become widely known for her soft and ethereal illustrations. Particularly known on Instagram, she has earned more than 130,000 followers posting her original artworks.
She first began exhibiting her artwork in 2008 and eventually had her first solo exhibition in 2012 in Melbourne.
She has a second Instagram account, becwinnel_theexperiments, where she has created experimental and abstract landscape paintings of Australian destinations.
Her daughter, Bridget Rose Joan Peacock, was born in February 2015.
Both she and Sara Tepes are illustrators known for their female portraits.
