ABOUT ANAMIKA KHANNA

Indian fashion designer who is known for running her own self-titled clothing label. She is known for her blending of Indian textiles with western silhouettes and tailoring. She is also known for having won the Indian Affairs Fashion Designer of the Year award in 2017 at the 8th annual India Leadership Conclave & Indian Affairs Business Leadership Awards.

She started her career in fashion in 1998. She gained further attention in 2003 when she was invited to Pakistan to showcase her bridal collections. She then went on to launch her own label Ana Mika in 2004 at the Lakme Fashion Week Grand Finale.

She is known for having been the first Indian fashion designer to have an international label Ana Mika. She is also the first female Indian designer to showcase her collections at Paris Fashion Week in 2007.

She was born and raised in Kolkata, India.

Her dresses and designs have been worn by several Bollywood celebrities including Sonam Kapoor .
