He was the first rapper from Buffalo, New York to sign a recording contract with a major label. He founded the record label called Griselda Records in 2012. Since its inception, the record label has gone on to feature artists like J. Cole.
He is the brother of fellow rapper Conway. His real name is Alvin Lamar Worthy. His cousin is rapper Benny the Butcher .
In 2017 he signed a recording contract with rapper Eminem 's Shady Records.
