ABOUT ALAN KARDEC
Brazilian striker who rose to fame after making his senior debut with Vasco da Gama in the Copa do Brasil. He went on to play for Benfica, Chongqing Lifan, Shenzhen, and a number of other clubs. At the international level, he represented Brazil in the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
He played youth soccer for Vasco da Gama from 2000 to 2006.
China's national team has attempted to naturalize him. He posts family photos on his alankardec Instagram account, which has gained upwards of 320,000 followers.
He is named after Allan Kardec , the 19th-century author and educator who founded the religious doctrine of Spiritism. He featured his father in a photo posted to his Instagram account on August 22, 2023.
He became a teammate of Réver when he joined Atlético Mineiro in 2022.
